LOCTITE ® 243 medium

is designed for locking and sealing of threaded fasteners that must be disassembled with standard hand tools. The product cures when confined between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE ® 243 ™ reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate. LOCTITE ® 243 ™ achieves robust curing. The product can not only be on active metals (eg brass, copper) are used, but also on passive materials such as stainless steel and plated surfaces. The product offers high temperature resistance and oil resistance. It tolerates low contamination of surfaces by various oils, such as cutting, lubricating, anti corrosion and protective oils.
