SUPER B MASON 12V25Ah
The new Mason 12V25Ah starter battery is light, compact and offers high performance. Thanks to Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology and the integrated BMS system, this new generation battery is extremely reliable and offers optimum safety. This battery is designed for a lot of high power applications. Suitable for starting internal combustion engines that use a 12V on-board power supply and for use in extreme environments.
Higher power density. Low weight.
Due to the higher energy and power densities, Super B lithium batteries are light and small. As a result, lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are more environmentally friendly than lead acid batteries because fewer raw materials are needed to produce the same power during energy storage.
LiFePO4 batteries last ten times longer than lead-acid batteries, resulting in lower cost per kilowatt hour. For example, Super B lithium batteries can achieve 5000 cycles or more. Lead-acid batteries can only achieve up to 500 cycles, as higher discharge rates reduce their life span. Even at depth of discharge, LiFePO4 batteries are ahead of lead-acid batteries: 100% vs. 50%. This leads to a higher useful capacity. Compared to lead acid batteries, self-discharge is 10 times lower. Lithium batteries of Super B can also be charged much faster. Due to the high charge and discharge current, our batteries can be fully charged within one hour.
When used in the cold season, please note that the performance of LiFePO4 batteries is reduced. A few minutes of short warming up of the battery, e.g. by drawing current at temperatures below 0°C (the cells inside the battery activate themselves) are sufficient to have the full performance available. Different principle than with lead acid batteries!
