Original AEROAKKU AKKUBOX as Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 version 12V 9Ah with BLUETOOTH interface & App
The original AKKUBOX for gliding & ultralight, lightweight aluminium, perfect workmanship. The LFP-BLUETOOTH version contains a lithium iron phosphate battery with Bluetooth interface. The LiFePO4 batteries have a much lower weight and a higher energy density compared to lead acid batteries, up to 6 times longer life and service life without memory effect. In terms of safety, LiFePO4 batteries are harmless compared to other lithium variants such as Li-Ion or Li-Polymer!
Via the Bluetooth interface the user can read out extensive battery information via app:
- Charge state (SoC)
- Overall condition (SoH)
- Current
- Capacity
- Temperature
- Number of cycles
- Voltage level of the battery and individual cells
The corresponding app is available free of charge in the App Stores.
The AKKUBOX can be mounted in any aircraft at a suitable place (usually where the battery used to stand). For this purpose 4 mounting holes are provided in the base plate. Once the AKKUBOX is installed, there are no more problems with loose on-board batteries which can be a safety risk and where you do not know the charge level of the battery. Because thanks to the LED display you can see at the push of a button how much capacity is still available.
Charging the battery is done by simply plugging the charger into the XLR socket of the AKKUBOX. No disassembly or removal necessary!

Please use only a LiFePO4 charger to charge the battery. A good choice is the AEROAKKU 9641LFP with matching XLR connector.
